Kooba Chic

This season I am really excited about getting into fall fashion more than ever. I tend to become more reserved, stay in, and skip out on things with the notion of focusing on my health, getting in shape, and saving money. But this year, with all of the styles and colors of fall, plus haunted houses and football, I can't wait to get out! I am most excited to use bigger purses again, but for this fall, I want a Kooba handbag. They are classic in color and shape, but have unique details that I live for. The gold hardware stands out, which may become more popular because of the C.C. Skye Lucy bag, and I like the lines on the top and straps of the Natasha bag. It's a more casual look and something I'd take to work everyday. The Kayla clutch is also really cute for going out casual or dressy... it's also in python... super hot right now! Want something cheaper? Get into the Limited now to find cute clutches similar to the Kooba Penelope.

Wednesday Night is Wine Night

Working and living in Cincinnati has begun to have it's advantages. I've been all around town and have a pretty good idea of the best happy hours and food specials in the area. One of my favorite places to go on a Wednesday night is Indigo. Located on Erie in off of the Hyde Park square, Indigo is a casual gourmet café with delicious food at a decent price. What's even better is on Wednesday nights, all bottles of wine are half off. It truly is the best excuse to get a date, or a group of friends together and relax in the middle of the work week. The only catch is that you've got to take full advantage of this place before it gets too cold outside. They have a cute patio with trees and a view of the entertainment going on at the square that sets the mood for a great dinner with wine. Check out the menu and prices at Indigo's (no offense) *poorly designed site.

Eyes for Fall

If you live in the Midwest, you may recognize the subtle changes that are about to come our way... Fall. This summer in particular has been a good one I am not yet ready to let go of, but with a new season comes fun new colors, clothing and the best time to clean out my closet. That said, I'll start my first post with a metallic shade sure to make your eyes pop! Last season, it was the color heel to buy, but this season, it's in the eyeshadow. Pewter is one of those metallic gray shades that will give your eyes a more sleek and defined look, but go a step beyond the smokey eye. Wear it out to dinner or in the evening, but with other dark fall colors. Try Dior's Couleur Powder Mono Eyeshadow in Silver Dust or Givenchy's Eyeshadow Quartet in Precious Shimmer that includes 3 other great colors.
