Hot or not? You decide. I've seen those leather sandals with the fringe, and I can't make up my mind if I like them or not! They seem like they would get sweaty and be impossible to wear. Some cut off your leg off right at the ankle or cover the top of your foot. I can't imagine how they look on people with more than stick thin legs. I do think they have a great edge and create a stylish look worn with shorter shorts and earthy colors. I also think celebrities may pull them off... or those cute (and tiny) indie hipster girls. Regardless, fringe has always grossed me out.
The second part of these thoughts came one day at work when I got really bored. (Yes, there was work to do, lots of it, but it was Friday and I needed a break!) I read through one of my Graphic Design magazines and pulled out a page. I felt like doing something with my hands so I cut the paper up with no intention to make anything out of it. When I finished, I realized I had created what looked like fringe! I immediately thought of those sandals and put the paper around my ankle. Surprisingly, it looked just like them! My friend and I found it so amusing that I finished the sandal and took some photos. haha Being a creative is awesome! Who knew I'd create a shoe today?!

Margaret Russo competed against more than 250 opponents to qualify for the Cincinnati Opera Idol finals, and SHE'S MADE IT! Now she needs your help to push her to number 1.
On Wednesday, June 24th, Margaret will sing among 10 finalists in order to get to the second round."It will be set up just like American Idol: the judges will comment on the singers’ performances and then the audience will vote the final five on to the next round. The news is in! I'm your official '09 Cincinnati Glambassador for a 2nd year! I'm soo excited to share with you even more amazing products, fashions, trends, and events. Last year was a lot of fun, and I learned so many things. I created the Fashionably Yours blog and Facebook group, sent invites to some of the hottest events, and hooked you up with great sales and ideas. I'm gaining more confidence in my writing and knowledge in the fashion and beauty industries, as well as becoming more comfortable in my own skin. My goal this year is to push the Fashionably Yours blog further to be a more comprehensive go to fashion + beauty site, a place to find out about sales, trends, and events in the Cincinnati area, and a fun way to share what I love when friends and fashionistas that have similar tastes and values.
